Rupert simonian

Rupert Simonian was born and raised London, U.K. At 26 he has appeared in numerous films including The Constant Gardener, Skyfall, Peter Pan, Keeping Mum, The Boys Are Back, Piccadilly Jim, Finding Her, Downhill and more. Rupert recently was nominated for Best Actor for his performance in Dr Rx. at Hudson Valley International Film Festival. TV credits include “Foyle’s War,” “Ashes to Ashes,” “Murdoch Mysteries,” “Not Going Out,” “X-Company,” “Appropriate Adult,” “Life Bites” (Disney), “Hidden,” “Doctors,” “Murderland,” “Le Grande,” “The Bill,” “ Holby City” and more. Rupert made his NY stage and Off-Broadway debut in the highly praised, critical and public success in Jonah and Otto (Theatre Row) in February this year.  Rupert received an Off West End Award nomination in the Best Actor category for his acclaimed performance in Punk Rock (UK tour). Other theatre credits include Fireface (Young Vic), To Kill a Mockingbird (Royal Exchange Manchester), and Three Kingdoms (London and EU tour) Lifesavers (Theatre 503) A Thousand Stars Explode in the Sky (Lyric Hammersmith). Upcoming this Fall, Rupert will be performing in In Love with the Arrow Collar Man Off-Broaday at Theatre 80, St. Marks. Graham Powell has been a NYC-based actor, writer, and filmmaker since 2006. A graduate of James Madison University and the Maggie Flanigan Studio, his theatrical credits include CATF, Syracuse Stage, and the NY Fringe Festival name a few. TV credits include 'Homeland', 'Hostages', and 'Law & Order'. He also has appeared in dozens of commercials and independent films. Accolades include the LIIFE Award for Best Actor in a Short Film, the NYU Craft Award for Acting, and the Looking Glass Forum Award for Best Actor. He is excited and honored to be working with such a talented group of professional artists on 'Deposit'. He wishes to thank NY/LON Productions for this opportunity, all of his on- and off-stage teammates for their talent and work, and, most of all, his wife Lourdes and son Jackson for their constant love and support.

stephen  cedars  /  director

Stephen Cedars is a writer, director and teacher originally from south Louisiana.  His work has been produced or developed through Theatre Masters, NY Fringe Festival, Incubator Arts Project, Brick Theatre, Scorpio Theatre, Downtown Urban Theatre Festival, chashama, Theatre for the New City, Stella Adler Studios, NYU, the Reproductive Festival, Grain of Sand Theatre, Over Our Head Players, the Renaissance Guild, Valley Rep, the Working Theatre Collective, Fractal Productions and other theatres throughout the United States and Canada.  For several years, he created and produced community programming in south Brooklyn designed for specific neighborhoods, funded through the Brooklyn Arts Council.  His plays have been published by Original Works and IndieTheatreNow.  Amongst his awards are the Theater Masters Visionary Playwright Award and Commission, a Fellowship with the Target Margin Institute for Collaborative Theater Making, a Residency with America-in-Play, and the John Golden Playwriting Prize.  He has taught myriad subjects in the liberal arts to kids grade 2 through 12, and is a creative writing instructor with Writopia Labs and Kimball Studio, where he helps working actors develop their own writing.  He earned his MFA in Dramatic Writing from NYU, which he attended as a Rita and Burton Goldberg Fellow.

linnea gregg   /  Stage  management

Born and raised in Hilo, Hawaii, Linnea attended the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, where she obtained her B.F.A. in Theatre in 2015. She recently moved back to the city from New Orleans. Special talents include being a morning person, speaking fake Hawaiian convincingly, and kickboxing the patriarchy.
